House party shooting leaves 4 injured

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL – Four people were shot at a house party in Chicago Heights Friday night, authorities reported.
One victim is a 28-year-old woman from Homewood whom Chicago Heights police found lying in the backyard with gunshot wounds to her chest and arm.
She was transported to St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights and her condition was not available Sunday afternoon.
Police later discovered that three more shooting victims had checked themselves into the emergency room at St. James.
A 20-year-old woman from University Park had a gunshot wound to her left foot, an 18-year-old woman from Chicago Heights had a gunshot wound to her left thigh and an 18-year-old man from Sauk Village had gunshot wounds to his chin and left leg. The three were treated and later released from the hospital.
Police said all four victims were attending a party in the 200 block of East 23rd Street.
