RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) – One person died after a quadruple shooting in Scott’s Addition early Friday morning.
Richmond Police shut down parts of Roseneath Road for several hours after responding to reports of shooting about 2 a.m. near Club Infuzion.
When officers arrived, they found Terrance C. Peters, 46, of Fredericksburg, dead. Three other victims were rushed to the hospital. Police said all three of those victims have non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said one man was pronounced dead at the scene, and another was found in a vehicle with gunshot wounds. Two additional victims transported themselves to the hospital with gunshots wounds.
Investigators actively took measurements at the parking lot near Infuzion Club, but police haven’t confirmed where they found the man dead.
Trevor Dickerson, of the neighborhood association, says he and residents can’t pin-point what exactly happened.
“The best thing I can say about this is it’s an isolated incident, stayed contained to this area. There have been ongoing police calls over here. Other than that, our councilwoman says for the entire second district of the city, this is the only shooting that’s taken place this calendar year,” said Dickerson.
Prior to this shooting, residents said parking was the biggest complaint about the neighborhood, which is home to several breweries.
Police have not yet named any suspects.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
