BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police were on the scene of a quintuple shooting in the 3900 block of Park Heights Avenue in Northwest Baltimore.

The shooting is outside of Saints Deli at Shirley and Park Heights avenues, where four men were found with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

A fifth person with gunshot wounds arrived at a hospital nearby around the same time, and police are investigating whether that victim was injured in the same shooting.

A first victim is a 63-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his arm. The second victim is a 22-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his body.

A third victim is a 49-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his stomach. The fourth victim is an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg.

A short time after, a 29-year-old man arrived at an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his hip.

All victims are being treated at area hospitals and are expected to survive.

Investigators believe the victims were standing in the 3900 block of Park Heights Avenue when they were shot.

“We went over a year without a shooting-homicide,” said Damien McNeil of Safe Streets program “So yeah, this is very, very frustrating.

None of the victims were identified, and police are not saying if the shooter is among the victims, or if the shooter is still loose.

“We come out, canvas, and get information that we can get in the neighborhood,” said McNeil. “try to prevent another shooting and retaliation.”

Over the weekend, Baltimore reached 298 homicides so far this year.
