8 Shot Saturday Night in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD- Eight people were injured in three separate shootings across Baltimore on Saturday night.

Baltimore Police say the first shooting happened around 9:12 p.m. Officers arrived at an area hospital and found a 20 year old man who was shot. Police believe that he was shot near the intersection of Reisterstown Road and Ulman Avenue

Around 9:54 p.m, officers were called to another area hospital for a female walk-in shooting victim. When the officers arrived, medical personnel told them that she was rushed into surgery. According to witnesses, she walked into the hospital and collapsed.

The final shooting happened around 11:48 p.m. near the intersection of Penhurst Avenue and Garrison Avenue and left six people wounded. Investigators say the victims were attending a backyard barbecue, when an unknown suspect entered the yard and began shooting. 4 women and two men were injured. A 17 year old woman was shot in the leg. Two 22 year old women were shot in the ankle. A 23 year old woman was shot in the thigh. A 23 year old man was shot in the ankle, and another 23 year old man was shot in the hip. All of the injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
