1 dead, 3 injured in neighborhood shooting

CLEVELAND, Ohio – A 26-year-old man is dead and three others injured in a shooting in the city’s Kinsman neighborhood.

The shooting happened about 11:30 p.m. Monday on East 94th Street, north of Kinsman Road near the police department’s Fourth District Headquarters.

A fight over drugs led to the gunfire, Cleveland police said. No other information regarding the shooting was released.

Jaylin Glanton of Maple Heights died from a gunshot wound to his shoulder. He was found dead at the scene.

A 27-year-old man was shot in the neck and is in critical condition at MetroHealth. A 25-year-old man suffered a superficial gunshot wound to the chest and a 32-year-old man was shot in the leg during the incident, police said.

No arrests have been made in the case.

It’s the city’s 78th homicide of the year. There were 72 at the same point in 2017.
