2 dead, 2 injured in Arkansas shooting

EL DORADO — Police in south Arkansas say two people were killed and two others were injured in an early morning shooting Sunday.

The shooting was reported at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday at a home in El Dorado, about 110 miles south of Little Rock. Police Capt. Kevin Holt tells the El Dorado News-Times that a man and woman were pronounced dead at the scene, and two others who were wounded were taken to hospitals.

Police have obtained an arrest warrant for 23-year-old Jacovis Dejon James on suspicion of two counts of capital murder, two counts of attempted capital murder, aggravated robbery and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
