JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (CBS12) — Police are investigating a mass shooting in Jacksonville, not far from where the Jacksonville Jaguars play.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says six adults are shot, three are in critical condition. The ages of the victims range from 20 to 70. Five of the victims are men. One victim was driven to the hospital.

The shooting happened around 12:35 p.m., outside a laundromat at A. Philip Randolph and Pippin Street The scene is about a half mile north of TIAA Bank Field where the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars hosted the Houston Texans.

Police say the shooting is not impacting the Jaguars game. The area around the shooting scene is blocked off.

No one is in custody. According to JSO on Twitter, police believe the shooter drove a gray or silver 4-door car, possibly a Nissan Altima or Maxima. Police believe the shooter fired from the passenger side of the car.

A spokesman says investigators believe the shooting may be gang related.

Two months ago a gunman opened fire during a Madden 19 video game tournament in downtown Jacksonville, killing two gamers before turning the gun on himself.
