MILWAUKEE, WI – Four people were shot Saturday in an incident that police believe stemmed from another one about a month ago, according to a news release from the Milwaukee Police Department.

The quadruple shooting took place around 4:20 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of South 21st Street. The victims — a 21-year-old man, a 23-year-old man, a 35-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman — sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Police believe the shooting is related to an incident that occurred about a month ago between two groups, the release said. The investigation is ongoing.

Police are also investigating a double shooting in the 1300 block of West Greenfield Avenue that occurred around 9:30 p.m. Saturday. Two 21-year-old men showed up at separate hospitals after the shooting with non-life-threatening injuries. The circumstances around the shooting are under investigation.

Just after midnight Sunday, a 31-year-old man was shot in the 200 block of West Center Street during a drug transaction, according to the news release. His injury was non-life threatening and the investigation is ongoing.
