MONTGOMERY, AL – Four men riding in a car together were shot Monday night after being fired upon by people in another vehicle.

One of the victims was considered to initially have life-threatening injuries, according to MPD spokeswoman Capt. Regina Duckett, though he was reportedly in stable condition as of 8:00 pm. He and the three other victims were brought to the hospital for treatment.

The shootings occurred on the 3200 block of Virginia Pines Lane. MPD’s initial investigation placed the four men in a car together, when they were shot at by another vehicle, Duckett said. One of the victims ran to the area of Susan Drive.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation, she said, and there have been no arrests made as of this time.
