ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A man is dead and four other people are hurt following a shooting early Monday at a sports bar in Orange County, deputies said.

The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. near the Happy Place Sports Bar on Southland Boulevard and Orange Blossom Trail.

Deputies said one man, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A security guard for the business was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment. The guard’s name and condition have not been released.

Deputies said a total of five people were shot, and at least one of those victims is in critical condition.

Witnesses told deputies that some type of disturbance happened in the parking lot prior to the shooting, according to a news release.

Investigators said the shooter, or shooters are at large.
