At least 5 shot during 4 a.m. ‘disagreement’

SAGINAW, MI – Several people are recovering after being shot at a party in Saginaw. At least five people were shot after 4 a.m. on Sunday, March 11, during a party at the northeast corner of Hess and Cumberland streets near the Buena Vista Township border, according to Michigan State Police.

Other law enforcement officials have put the number of victims at six. According to MSP Lt. David Kaiser, all victims were males and all are in stable condition.

There was a disagreement and gunfire erupted, according to Kaiser. Kaiser said the incident remains under investigation and no one is in custody. This marks the second shooting in the city in two days.

A 24-year-old woman was shot in the stomach early Saturday outside of the community center Samaritas In Home Services, formerly known as the Neighborhood House, 3145 Russell, on the city’s South Side.
