TRACY, Calif. (KCRA) — A juvenile was killed and four others were injured Thursday night in a shooting, Tracy police said.
Family members have identified the 15-year-old who died as Emilio Gerardo Enriquez Almanza.
The injured victims, who are boys or young men, suffered non-life-threatening wounds, police said.
The shooting happened on West Sixth Street.
“We’re still early in the investigation. It appears there was some kind of altercation at the dead end of Sixth Street near the railroad tracks. That altercation led to a shooting,” said Terry Miller with the Tracy Police Department.
Police are investigating.
