Four shot and wounded in Washington

WASHINGTON, DC – Four people were wounded Thursday night during a shooting in Northeast Washington, where one man was found unconscious, D.C. police said.

The shooting happened in the 1600 block of Kenilworth Avenue about 9:15 p.m., said Officer Hugh Carew, a spokesman. Police found one wounded man who was unconscious but breathing at the scene.Officers also found two men and a woman who were wounded but were conscious and breathing at the scene, Carew said.

Homicide detectives were called to investigate the incident, Carew said.
